Crafting Items
The main point of the the game is to craft items and use them to build, mine, or even kill things. To get a guide on how to craft items and an incredibly long list of all the craftable items and what they do click here.
Mobs: Mobs are the creatures and monsters that live in the Minecraft universe.
Passive Mobs: These Mobs will never attack or harm you, mostly killed to harvest certain items.
Sheep can be found black, white, gray, or brown, any sheep can be changed color by using a dye of them. When you attack sheep they drop wool of their color, (so if you make a sheep yellow it will drop yellow wool)
When you kill a cow there is a chance that it will drop leather, that can be used for crafting armor. If you use a bucket on a cow you will get milk, that can be used for baking.
Chickens can lay eggs after a period of time and when you kill them you have a large chance of them dropping a feather.
Pigs normally provide raw pork when killed, you can use a saddle on them and ride them around.
Squid drop inc sacs when killed and are only found in water.
Neutral Mobs: These Mobs won't hurt you unless provoked.
If you stand near a Zombie Pigman, it will turn its head towards you for a few seconds, then resume its wandering. Zombie Pigmen spawn in packs of 4-10 and tend to stay together. Attacking one Zombie Pigman will cause the entire group to become hostile, often swarming the player. If the player moves a certain distance from a pack, waits a while or leaves the Nether and returns, they will become neutral again. If a pig is struck by lightning it will turn into a Zombie Pigman.

Aggressive Mobs: These Mobs will chase and attack you if you're close enough.
These guys are called Creepers, once they see you they will chase you, and once they get close enough they will explode and destroy a lot around them, if you manage to kill one before it explodes it drops gun powder. It doesn't even catch on fire when in the sunlight.
